The transformation of this Mustang has been an ongoing process over the past seven years, which began when the car’s original 302-cubic-inch V-8 was replaced by a 351 Cleveland-cubic-inch small-block V-8 that is a strong performer.

the engine bay has subsequently been detailed, and the engine tuned. The engine is said to start immediatelyand idle properly with no smoke. A previous owner replaced the original transmission with a floor-shifted Ford FMX three-speed automatic, which Ford produced from 1968 to 1979. It is said to shift well with no noises of complaint. New fuel lines and a new fuel tank have been installed.

this Mustang was painted in its present red 10 years ago. Overall this pony car presents well, including the underside. The grille, with the 1970 inset headlamps, appears to be intact and in good condition. The Mustang’s convertible top is new, and the top frame assembly has been restored. The top is described as being in perfect operating order, with no leaks. All of the glass is original except forthe window in the convertible top. All the exterior lights are reported functional, including the turn indicators. The underside of the car, which has seen extensive suspension work, presents cleanly.
