Car ran perfectly fine and beautiful when we took it in.

Then my detail guy took off the carburetor cover and a bold fell inside the motor and now it wont turn over. Everything was great on the car and now its been sitting for years untouched. Used motors are very cheap around $600-$800 from what i have seen on car- but i would assume someone

The transformation of this Mustang has been an ongoing process over the past seven years, which began when the car’s original 302-cubic-inch V-8 was replaced by a 351 Cleveland-cubic-inch small-block V-8 that is a strong performer.

the engine bay has subsequently been detailed, and the engine tuned. The engine is said to start immediately

and idle properly with no smoke. A previous owner replaced the original transmission with a floor-shifted Ford FMX three-speed automatic, which Ford produced from 1968 to 1979. It is said to shift well with no noises of complaint. New fuel lines and a new fuel tank have been installed.

this Mustang was painted in its present red 10 years ago. Overall this pony car presents well, including the underside. The grille, with the 1970 inset headlamps, appears to be intact and in good condition. The Mustang’s convertible top is new, and the top frame assembly has been restored. The top is described as being in perfect operating order, with no leaks. All of the glass is original except for

the window in the convertible top. All the exterior lights are reported functional, including the turn indicators. The underside of the car, which has seen extensive suspension work, presents cleanly. This Mustang is being sold with an additional convertible top.

The Regal Red paint is stated to date to the 2010 restoration.

the paint has minimal orange peel and remains in very good condition, with no body or paint damage noted, save for a few light scratches that have been touched up. The emblems are stated to have been new replacements. there are no signs of rust or rust repair present on this vehicle,

and all body panels appear “solid. ” All weather seals are described as being in good condition and no water leaks are evident. All lighting is stated to work properly. The bumpers are said to have been replated, while the rest of the chrome and brightwork remains bright and well polished.

Small dings are visible on the fender top trim. The heat-pressed black vinyl pleated seats are stated to be original and in very good condition, with light scratches visible and with full movement on their tracks without issue. The carpeting appears to be in fair condition, with wear visible at the heel area below the accelerator pedal. A replacement perforated vinyl headliner was recently installed and is described as “correct. ” There is headliner material puckering around the C-pillar.
