Selling my rare 1987 Mercedes Benz 500SL HARD and SOFT TOP European model. Current mileage on the odometer reads 156,561 (miles). Vehicle is in excellent running and cosmetic condition, considered to be in 'drivers' condition. Exterior is in great shape, straight panels, fair trim, chrome and moldings. No rust and

no accident history. Paint still shines well. It's been repainted and I rate it at a 5.0 out of 10. The interior is also shows well, no major rips, cuts or stains. Carbon fiber trim is found through out the interior. Top does have three rips (see photos for details).

Hard top is included in the sale. Mechanically the car drives great. Both engine and transmission sound and feel strong. A/C blows cold. Lights work and power windows. Please note vehicle is in excellent condition based on it's age of nearly 30 years old. Average wear and tear is visible, please see photos for details.

This Caprice is in excellent condition with 16,000 miles! It's always been garaged and well maintained. It has the optional 400 cubic inch small block V8 with a four barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt steering column, cruise control, Am/Fm radio,

power door locks, bumper rub strips, bumper guards, body side molding and wire wheel covers. The original spare tire and jack have never been used. Clean title. Everything works perfectly!

Only the earliest models came with a " ball style" transfer case shifter as the one you are viewing has. Fiberglass inserts in lieu of doors were standard and a vinyl top and doors were options. The bench seat has been recovered in sourced original NOS vinyl. Professional frame off restoration with body painted off the frame and original pink primer on the original underneath of original solid floor pans.
