Gorgeous showroom quality 86' GSXR750 âSkoal Bandit â replica that has just been through a 3-year frame off, nut and bolt restoration.
The base for this restoration was an early 87' GSXR-750 with clean title, but I converted it to an 86' layout to be faithful to the original. The restoration is 99% OEM, with only a few fasteners that were
remade due to lack of availability, and aftermarket screen/mirrors. The bike was stripped to the frame and every single component refurbished, painted or plated before reassembly. The engine only had 16K miles on it but was stripped to the cases and rebuilt with new components to ensure reliability and that new bike feel.
The bike handles beautifully, and the engine pulls cleanly and strongly through the entire rev range. However, if you wish to just park it in your living room and admire it with your biking friends, I would understand. Some Restoration Details â¦.Chassis/Suspension: Frame fully stripped and modified with 86' GSXR1100 steering damper, all new steering and swingarm bearings.
86' Forks/Anti Dive fully stripped, new seals, coatings refurbished. Rear shock full rebuild using 86' GSXR1100 shock body and remote reservoir for improved handling.
Brake calipers stripped, refinished rebuilt with new seals/pads, rotors refurbished/refinished. All brake/clutch masters/slaves rebuilt with new seals. Wheels fitted with new bearings and new rubber. All fasteners replaced with NOS or replated. Electrics: Wiring loom gone through and rewrapped, all electrical components in perfect working condition. Usual missing components such as clutch starter safety switch and side stand safety switch are fitted and operational (so pull clutch lever in to start). Fitted Japanese OEM
turn signals with smoked lenses, because they look cool! Instrument cluster and switch gear refurbished.
New battery. Engine: Stripped to the cases, all new mains, big end bearings, oil seals and gaskets. Cylinders honed and pistons fitted with new rings and wrist pins. Heads rebuilt with new valve oil seals and valve seats reground. New clutch. Carbs ultrasonic cleaned, rebuilt with new gaskets and fuel valves. Stage 1 jet kit fitted for smoother acceleration off idle. Hi-Flow air filter with stock airbox and stock OEM exhaust system. Fuel tank petbird rebuilt, tank in excellent condition, no liner. Fairings/Body Panels: All OEM fairings with the exception of the screen.
No missing tabs, poppers or cracked mounting holes. âSkoal Bandit â base coat colors. 6 Coats of clear, wet sanded flat and then polished to show quality.

Up for grabs is an extremely rare E27 GSX1100SXZ Katana.
There were only 45 units of E27 Katanas ever built. Twenty were produced for New Zealand and twenty-five were made for the South African market. Australia received the lesser specked E24 model. The limited number of E27, s were just enough to facilitate homologation for production racing
circa 1981. What made the E27 SXZ1100 stand out from the regular katanas were: Spoked wheels (wire wheels) with an 18 inch rear wheel. More powerful front brakes. Mikuni round slide oval bore VM32SS carburettors. Larger 33mm bore mufflers. Performance camshafts (possibly manufactured by Yoshimura).
Upgraded clutch. Chrome-moly round swingarm. I am the third owner of this very special Katana for the past twenty-seven years. The mileage is low for the age of the vehicle. In total, she has done just over 17000 Km (10493 miles). She is in mint condition, well maintained and recently serviced. The vehicle is sold with a clean title, original owners manual and toolkit.

This is an all original 1977 Laverda Jarama 1000 with only 8105 miles in original factory green.
The bike recently received a restoration. The frame was sandblasted and painted gloss black. The chainguard was sent to the chromer for replating along with the headlight brackets, exhaust downpipes (headers), Brevetato Jota bars, Ciriani rear shock
springs, foot peg brackets and other misc parts, nut and bolts. My plater refused to do the mufflers but they are in great shape anyways. They have some small rust spots here and there but no dents or road rash. The carbs were completely rebuilt and received vapor blasting and an ultrasonic bath.
Carbs also got new seals and misc parts were replaced. As you can see in the pictures all the aluminum covers were polished. Front forks were rebuilt and got new seals. The brake calipers and disc carriers were re-anodized in black. Calipers then received new pistons and seals and so did the front and rear master cylinders. All the nuts, bolts and washers were also cad and zinc plated plated. The bike runs amazingly well and is a blast to ride. and looks beautiful too.
