I'm not sure I can talk about how incredibly-cared for his equipment is and do it justice.
To say that he meticulously maintains things is the understatement of the year. A beautiful mirror like finish that has been polished even when it didn't need it because according to ol' Chuck, 'He gets bored as a retiree'. It barely got 8100 miles on
it, and it's the 103CI for crying out loud - that engine is bullet proof, with tons of life left in it! What you're seeing here is essentially a brand new bike, but only better - there are no bugs or kinks to work out.

Matching numbers 1947 Indian Chief with only 1500 miles since restoration!
This is the best color combination of this bike. The bike is very well maintained, runs as it should, very low milage, gearbox shifts smoothly, the timing adjustment shifter are on the left and the throttle is on the right, this was a preference to a vast majority of riders, always babied and stored indoors. Comes with a brand new CHUM-ME seat ( 2 seater) as well as the passenger extension pegs. Clean title.

End Custom Seat and Windshield bag Electric Start and 4 speed Transmission Electric Start was installed after photos were taken.
Electric start requires removal of original kicker and chain guard. Original kicker and chain guard included. I've added two photos this morning.
I was asked to have a photo of the bike with the kicker removed after installation of the electric start. I also realized that I didn't have a photo of the small electronic speedo/odometer that Elmer Lower installed on the dash shortly after the restoration. I opted for this over putting a clunky original speedo and cable on the bike. And it's nice to know how fast you are going.

1982 Laverda Mirage 1200 TS with only 24k miles (40Km).
This is a late 1200 series 2 and one of the last with the wonderful 180 degree crankshaft, giving this bike a lopey idle and great sound. The carbs were completely rebuilt and new O-rings, float valves and seals were installed. The Brembo brake calipers and master cylinders were completely
overhauled and new seals, O-rings and pistons were installed. This bike got a thorough inspection and what was not roadworthy was replaced with new or NOS parts. The ignition pick-up wires were so bad that they turned to dust with the most gentle touch (something common on these bikes).
These wires along with the outer silicone sleeve were replaced. The front forks also received new seals and fluids. Bike shifts through all the gears and it brakes work as they should. Throttle response is very good and crispy. The clock currently shows 40,067 Km which is a little over 24k miles.
