It underwent a restoration about 67 miles ago.
The bike was stored inside my home with a glass case around it. Its time to let her go. The paint is show quality the Indian emblem is done in silver leaf then several coats of clear sanding between coats. Every part was disassembled, repaired or replaced. All the engine and gear box inner components are new. You will not find a nicer Indian anywhere. This bike is perfect!

1977 Harley Davidson XLCR Cafe Racer.
The title is clear. The bike runs and rides great. The milage is correct on the bike. This bike is very much original, however, the license plate holder is not original, and the mufflers do not look correct, the seat may have been replaced. Aside from that this bike is stock and turn key ready.

The marriage of a KSS motor with the more current MAC rolling chassis was a fairly common practice that resulted in a far better platform for the OHC KSS motor.
Classic Motorcycle and Mechanics tested one in July '92 and came away impressed with the combo. This example was built by a Velo expert during '91 and '92 and acquired by the current
owner in 2004. Was rode it occasionally over the next few years and decomissioned it for display in his climate controlled collection in 2008. The machine is a fine example with no mechanical issues.

Partial restore.
Started restoration etc. not going to finish. Positives. got the motor to spit and sputter before the start of the restore. Has great compression. Paint is great! Mostly all original. Original exhaust. Not all in the best shape but decent. Rims and spokes are good. Was just going to polish and use them that way. Will make an easy rider or restore. Carbs will need to be gone through. Needs chain guard, chain, and and airbag. Currently has pods. The bike is sold AS IS!
