The original V8 was replaced with a professionally-built 1963 5-bolt 289, producing 245 hp and a whopping 294 lb/ft torque!
(Approximately 1,000 miles on the car since completed the past Spring). The automatic transmission was professionally rebuilt at 76,000 miles. The radiator has been replaced with a 3-core. The master cylinder has been upgraded to a dual-bowl.

It is all steel. The vehicle is in very good shape certainly not perfect but a very good well sorted driver that turns heads. Overall condition I would rate 8.5 out of 10 as I believe it was a frame on restoration. For a 70 year old truck it is in great shape.
