This GT model has all of the extras you come to expect from BMW, including heated grips and heated seat with variable control for each, electronic cruise control, electrcally controlled windshield w/memory, satellite radio w/factory wiring harness for ipod connection, remotekey fob to lock/unlock all 3 cases and set vehicle alarm, two auxiliary power sockets. This motorcycle also has the color and key matched top case with LED lighting and the BMW/Garmin Motorrad IV GPS. Many other options including ABS, TPMS, ESC, 3 ride modes.

It's passed through three owners at this point. The original owner claimed that his son wasn't happy with the bike when it was purchased, so it sat in the back of his shop for decades. For the sake of keeping things undisturbed, I haven't
pulled the top end to see about use, but the odometer does function and reads just under 2 miles. Other evidence including no wear on rubber bits or seat seem to confirm the story. I'm confident if you wanted to run this bike, it would start easily and run well.
It has high compression and strong spark. The transmission goes through the gears as it should. It remains unstarted, and, most likely, unused. Cosmetically the bike is exactly how you want to find a true original survivor. There are signs of age such as slight paint discoloration flaking in spots and one small ding in the tank as pictured. Every part that was on this bike when it left the dealer is still present down to the original Italian made Pirelli tires. I even have the optional solo seat and with correct blue piping in nos condition and will include it in the sale.

The bike is very original indeed and still has its original paint, Wheels, Clocks, and Key Ring. So many of these bikes have been restored with non-original/ incorrect parts. This has the bigger Smooth Flow Carburettors which I was informed were a very desirable
upgrade back in the day! I have the original carburettors with the bike. Those in the know will be aware that the first generation Z1's had a chain oiler behind one of the side panels. This bike has had this removed and now has the compressor for the air horn in the space, a very period upgrade!

This is a running, riding bike.
The motor has been together many years but starts easy and has plenty of power. I cleaned carburetor and rebuilt points and installed new 12volt coil and battery. Transmission looks good, with decent gears inside and feels like it has lots of life. Transmission is nice inside and out and has old polish and no
apparent damage or leaks, It shifts well. This bike has some cool old parts an old chopper nothing fancy just cool old real harley stuff. 1. 1947 el engine no repairs or damage to cases heads or cylinders. Motor mounts are original and look great. Cylinders are original bore unknown.

for visibility. I bought the optional storage pockets that go on both sides of the tunnel, for $275. There are 3 zip pockets, weather proof pockets on each side and one mesh pocket. Also serves as insulation. great addition.
