1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible.
I've owned the car for 15 years. It underwent a full restoration 5 years ago and has been winning local shows ever since. The body was stripped down to bare metal and refinished in beautiful Cotillion White. All body panels are near perfect and straight as an arrow. The chrome was either restored or replacedwith NOS parts. Even the correct hubcaps were restored. The convertible top and all moving parts have been replaced. Top goes up and down perfectly. Under the hood, the engine has been highly detailed and runs perfectly. The original carburetor has been rebuilt.
All fuel lines have been replaced. The rebuilt transmission shifts like new. The complete braking system has been replaced, including Hydro-Booster, brake lines, calipers, rotors and pads. The interior is immaculate. The leather seats, carpet, and door panels have all been redone. All electronics work including power antenna. The dashboard is in excellent condition with no cracks or scuffs. Even the steering wheel was professionally restored. Since acquiring this vehicle, we have had the king and link pins replaced, front and rear soft brake lines replaced, new front wheel bearings, master cylinder, brake pressure switch, axle boots, engine oil change, spark plus, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor replaced, starter replaced, trans fluid replaced, brake fluid flush, new TMI top boot, and a brand new set of American Classic wide walls installed from Coker Classic (all receipts available).
This 58â Convertible runs and drives EXCELLENT! We have put roughly 200 miles on the car with no issues including 40 miles of interstate driving. Everything works as it should! The convertible top is in very good
shape with its only needs being a rear window seal and the headliner is not present.
The exterior layer, and insulation layer are in great shape. It latches nice and tight and has been driven on the interstate with the top up and down with no issues. The paint on the car is from the 80âs and has a nice shine to it, but is far from perfect. It is very good driver quality paint. There are some dings, scratches, and chips here and there. This is an UNRESTORED car that has seen 1 repaint. Excellent driver with loads of originality which includes and extremely rare color. This is a special car with a completely matching body, pan, engine, trans, and title.
