Beautiful All Original 1975 Kawasaki KX400 Time Capsule.
Here we have for sale a beautiful, all original 1975 Kawasaki KX400 dirtbike. This is quiet a time capsule. It is 100% original. Everything is how it came from the factory, paint, exhaust pipe, chrome, tires, suspension. Everything is original and untouched. The bike has incredibly lowhours on it. It has been stored away for years. It was taken out of long term storage, when I bought it from the original owners family. The bike runs as good as it looks. It starts right up and sounds amazing. As any big bore two stroke vintage motocrosser does.
The clutch and transmission work like new and so does everything else mechanical on the bike. The bike has such low hours on it that the engine oil looks almost new. The original gas tank is beautiful and is basically like new. The inside of the tank is perfect. The original petbird is nice and functions like it should. The original seat is very nice and the original seat foam is nice and firm. It does have a tiny split in thecover by one edge on the back of it. Can probably be fixed from a vinyl restoration company. The handlebars and controls are all 100% original and hardly used. The original handlebars are straight and the chrome on them look really good.
There is a slight amount of patina on the chrome but still shines nicely. The grips are original and has almost no wear or any issues with them. The cables and throttle are all in excellent condition. The front KYB fork tubes are in beautiful shape. Hardly any noticeable imperfections on them. The original exhaust pipe is intact and nice! There is not a single dent on the pipe. It just has some scrapes in the paint. Most likely happened from storage.The original Dunlop tires are in great shape! The front tire has like no wear on it.
The little nubs are still present on the tires. The rear tire has a very minor wear on it and is still in great shape. There isn ât dry rot on the original tires or anything. The original DID rims are in excellent condition with no issues or anything. They are straight with no bends or anything. The spokes and nipples are in really nice condition too with no corrosion. The original fenders are intact and are nice too for being original from 1975. There isn ât any cracks in the fenders. The front fender still has its original front mud flap on it that âs in great shape!
They just have a slight amount or discoloration from 46 years of exposure to light and elements. There was a sticker that I removed that was on the rear fender. The original KYB shocks are on the bike and work great and look great too. The original number plates and decals are in great shape and have no major issues or anything wrong with them. The gas tank still has its original gas cap. This is a very rare opportunity to purchase such a low hour, all original, time capsule of a KX400. These bikes are incredibly rare and hard to find, let alone in this condition. The bike isn ât perfect but something that you could easily restore or keep original and add it to your vintage motorcycle collection.

For sale almost original condition 1975 Honda cb400f.
They are getting difficult to find in unmolested condition. I bought this cool project bike over the summer and haven't had a chance to do anything with it. Motor turns over freely and transmission shifts through all gears. Mileage is just over 19k miles. Bike is currently not running and
as such is being sold as a project bike. It shouldn't take too much to get it running. The electric start button seems to be sticking or shorted as the engine turns over when key is turned to on. Common issue with these. Tank paint shines well with a few scuffs and couple shallow dings.
The inside of gas tank looks very good. Original studded seat in excellent condition. Bike is missing rear turn signals, and only has an exhaust header with no muffler or tail pipe. Left plastic side cover has a few repaired cracks. Chrome is good to fair with some weathering pitting on front fender, front tire is weather cracked from age. There may be some other things I've over looked or that may be needed. Look over the pictures well for overall condition. This Cb400 is the bike to fix up and or restore as it will only go up in value.

Genuine NOS Honda parts purchased from Honda dealers and collectors for an authentic Honda restoration. Exhaust system purchased new from a Honda dealer, but is not a stamped NOS item. New seat is a reproduction, not NOS. Virtually everything on this highly collectible Honda CB 750 is new, rebuilt or restored. Only few miles
since complete restoration. This Honda has been repainted in its original factory color of Ruby Red Metallic and is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The instruments were kept original to show the actual odometer reading at 22,475 miles since new.
Instruments can be rebuilt to new condition, if buyer elects to show actual miles since restored instead of original. This cycle was completely disassembled. The frame is powder-coated in gloss black to match the original factory color, but to extend durability. Original hardware was retained and re-zinc coated for authenticity. Amazing attention to details. Wear items such as tires, cables, bearings, gaskets and gromets were all
replaced with new, including a new wiring harness. This engine was completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, inspected and measured for correct tolerances and then every part was rebuilt, freshened or replaced to original factory specs.
The original pistons were in excellent condition and received new rings and the cylinders only required honing. Likewise, the head was completely rebuilt to original factory specs
