This is a numbers matching car. Color is a factory color of Burnt Orange with black stripes. It has the orig. 402 ( 396 ) engine an drive train. It has a Muncie heavy duty 3 speed manual trans. All SS came with a 3 spd. the 4 spd and turbo 400 were options. It is a factory air car, not working but it's all there.It has a black vinyl top in perfect condition as the paint is. The car was restored by the previous owner about 5 yrs ago. The motor was rebuilt at that time, and a mild cam was installed to give is a nice idle. The underside of the car has no patch panels or rust you can see from the pics.
Those are the factory mags that came on the car an the tires are nearly new. The interior is perfect no rips or tares the carpet looks to have been replaced. Other than the cam the only things not on this orig. car is it has an after market radio, and after market oil guage, and an Edelbrock 650 carb, but I have the orig carb for the car. The car has a 12 bolt posi rear end running I believe 3:55 ratio.So if your looking for a Chevelle that is different from all the others, that are Red, Blue, Green this color is very pretty. This is a Chevelle that you won't see another one at a car show like it.
