Freshly restored 1970 FLH.

I purchased this bike totally disassembled. The engine and trans. were done when I bought it. I pulled the heads to verify it. It is.020 over. I stripped the frame, sheet metal, totally repainted the complete bike. It is done in teal and cream. All the lighting, and chrome has been replaced. The tires, are new, I replacedthe wheels, bearings, and spokes. New fender struts, cables, mirrors, handlebars, switches, chain, luggage rack, chrome inner and outer primary, nose cone, point, condenser, coil, brakes including lines, lining, and rear wheel cylinder. New lining in front.

The forks are rebuilt, and polished. 100 hours of aluminum polishing went into this build. I had to replace the gas tanks due to vibration stress fractures common on old HDs. Brand new leather solo seat and trim. I have included a photo of the receipts.Used 1970 Harley-Davidson FLH 18,000 miles

1965 BMW R60/2 Conversion Caf é Racer with R75/5 engine and gearbox An R75/5 engine and gearbox with an R60/2 Earles fork, frame and running gear make this the best of both worlds.

You have a modern electric start 750cc motor with the classic looks of a 1960's BMW. This motorcycle was rebuilt using only the best components. It was assembled

with care and attention to detail. The hand-laid fairing is perfect for this bike, the finish of the fiberglass is as smooth on the inside and it is on the outside. Rare vintage Talbot mirrors from Germany fit the look. Vintage saddlebags by Enduro finish the rear; streamlined, functional and stylish.

Alloy rims by Sun with stainless spokes compose the wheels. Only 3715 miles since rebuild. This BMW is comfortable to ride, and it eats up highway miles.

This bike has been in storage for over 45 years.

Engine kicks over with plenty of compression but would need some fettling before it would be ready to start. It was used regularly until layed up. It was painted and chromed and then used regularly for about the next 6 or 7 years. Mileage reads 21,880. Regarding mechanical integrity. The engine

and gearbox fasteners are in generally good condition which to me is a strong indication the bike has been looked after and not abused. The paint is faded, chipped, tarnished and and the chromed parts have plenty of surface rust. However, all the steel cycle parts seem pretty solid without any cracks, holes or dents.

In other words the bike has a patina that cannot be faked.
