Original and rare. Less than 600 of these convertibles built. This was the flag ship model for Chrysler. Rust free no patches no Bondo. No body damage ever. I had the paint redone in 2019, Original color but 2 stage to improve it. I had the interior redone to factory spec as well as the top with a glass back window also in 2019. Factory 440 V8. Engine bay has not been detailed and the trunk is very original and complete. I had thesuspension and the brakes rebuilt as well as the steering box replaced with new original equipment. This car is rock solid, all of the chrome plating has be re-done. The paint is about an 8 out of 10, he drives the car often. Everything works correctly. Power steering has been rebuilt and the brake shoes have been religned with the original materials and the drums sized, it stops on a dime! I replaced the original carburetor
with a Holley replacement. I Installed a smaller aftermarket steering wheel in it making it easier to drive. The transmission has been rebuilt recently and the motor was gone through approximately 8 years ago. It has an awesome hidden sound system. Both the hard top and soft are included.
The wire wheels are not Kelsey Hayes. Power windows have been added also. This car is a cream puff and runs and drives as good as it looks. All the original parts that were replaced come with the car along with a car cover!

By that I mean against the boys at Chevy. Ford never could outsell the guys down the road. That makes this car unusual and more affordable. Here we have a GORGEOUS example of a 1959 Ford Sunliner. This is the full size soft top version of the linup for 59. This is not the trouble prone and complicated retractable hardtop
model. Those were called Skyliners. Listing on behalf of a family who wishes us to find a new forever home. This car in it's striking combination of numbers matching Inca Gold with contrasting gold, white and black interior is just a stunner. Not to mention the beautiful Kelsey Hayes true wire wheels!
Jaw dropping. Equipped with the optional 332 V8 and mated to a three speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. This car is also equipped with power steering, brakes and top, a town and country factory radio (inoperative) and fully functional POWER WINDOWS. A nicely equipped convertible for 1959! Rock solid body. GORGEOUS paint and trim. Not a flaw to be had. Nice, white convertible top too!
