The Exterior is in better than new with its original paint being professionally detailed. Paint has been polished to perfection without sacrificing its originality. The front end is protected by XPEL paint protection film from the front bumper to the
fenders. The installation was done so well most will not be able to tell it's even there. The rest of the car including the film was then protected with 3 coats of glass coating to seal and protect the paint. The wheels are Ferrari 355 18's, 18x7 front and 18x10 rear with new Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions which really give the car a more modern and aggressive look while still giving a comfortable and sporty riding experience.
The convertible top is in brand new condition with no rips or tears. Rear plastic window is clear with only minor wear. The interior is in just as exceptional condition as the exterior with the rich leather being in like new condition, seats have been well taken

Mechanically the car is in exceptional condition, the car starts runs and drives like the day it left the factory. The engine is healthy and runs as it should and the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears. Brakes are at around 95% and work great. This car is rust free, garage kept since the early 70's that I know of, probably it's entire life. 44,000 original miles, original engine and drive line. This car has never been restored, only maintained. I would call this more of a survivor car. The previous owner did what
was needed over the years to keep the car in nice condition as have I. Original chrome and stainless, original glass, etc. all in very nice shape. New interior and top was done in the early 80's, has had one repaint in the late 70's. I would rate this a solid #3 car using Hagerty Insurance rating system.
They value the car at 23,000. Runs and drives nice, top works. I just had the radiator rebuilt as it sprang a leak and the core was weak. This is a very nice example of a first year Bullet Bird. It is not a 50K #1 car but you could make it one and have less that 50 in it.
