This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is a great leap back in time.
The vehicle was purchased and owned most of it's life by a little old lady in Ohio where she owned it most of it's life. It then made it's way to her grandson onto which it then made it into my hands. I have been caring for the vehicle the last 15 years and in that time ithas received general maintenance and a new top roughly 8 years ago. Recently it received a fluid change and an alternator. Current Mileage is 44,647. Yes this mileage is true and everything on this car works as it should, including the cruise control! Finished in beautiful Tucson Yellow paint accented nicely by a clean White soft top and nice Black interior. This fantastic Ford is powered by a correct 390CI Special V8 engine mated to a smooth shifting Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The car was subject to a thorough restoration a few years back and
still shows quite well. Our Thunderbird runs, rides, and drives extremely well and would make a great candidate for a driver and even better to take to local car shows and cruise ins. The Details; This Camaro has a nice straight body with believed factory lacquer paint from the doors forward. The panel fit and gaps are tight. Nice patina with typical lacquer checking more visible in sunlight but must be disclosed. I was told by Chevy buffs not to touch it so I didn't. Prior to my ownership rear fenders and trunk lid were repainted factory color matches well.
The chrome, stainless trim, emblems remain in nice shape. It has a power white convertible top which looks good no rips back window is a bit cloudy. The original Dark Blue interior is in good shape.
A testament to the care given over the years. It has the rare speed buzzer, the original working AM-FM radio, console is nice, upgraded wood steering wheel, dash is nice, bucket seats w/seat belts etc. Under the hood is its potent 350/350hp with nice details to show off at cruises. Full size spare, jack and trunk mat. This Camaro still turns heads.
