The numbers-matching 1600S flat-four has been rebuilt to displace 1.720cc. and the exterior was refinished in its factory-delivered silver metallic approximately three decades ago. The black interior is complemented by a black softtop with a matching boot. and equipment includes 15″ wheels with chromed hubcaps. rear jump seats. floor mats. and green-letter VDO gauges. The Convertible D was introduced to replace the Speedster. and coachwork for all examples was provided by Karosseriewerke Drauz of Heilbronn.
