This bike is a true one owner bike (besides me) Sat in a barn since 1978.
Bike had been repainted beige (see photos) I took off all the sheet metal, got a galllon or goof off and started rubbing. A few days later I had all the original paint back! It was sanded before t was painted so there are some blemishes but it has a really cool look andit âs a real deal original paint bike. I re wired most of the bike, new battery, rebuilt the carb, out some good year double whites on it. Bike starts runs and rides EXCELLENT. Only 8000 miles on the speedo and it âs got great compression. This is a REAL deal survivor.
Every part on this bike has been on it since new or added 50 years ago. You can hop on this bike and ride it, now! All he lights work, including the glass bullets on the back. All Original 1970 Honda Mini Trail 50 Here we have for sale a beautiful all original 1970 Honda Mini Trail 50.
I bought this bike from the original owners family. The original owner had stored this bike inside of his home for many years. He bought the bike brand new from a dealer in Idaho in 1970. I still have some documentation that came with
the bike when purchased new. The last picture shows everything I have with the bike. It even comes with a couple of can of Honda Ruby Red touch up paint. Pretty cool! The bike runs and rides great! It starts up first kick and idles like a low mileage Honda should.
I have rebuilt and tuned the original carburetor. I replaced the engine oil and spark plug. I also check the valves and the made sure they were within OEM spec. The bike is all original and even down to its original Trail Wing tires that it came with from the factory. The paint is all original and shines nice. There are some scratches in the paint. There is also some paint missing on the frame where the battery must of leaked
on it. The handlebars and controls are original and they even have the original black plastic brake levers still intact. The cables are original and are in great shape!
The exhaust is all original and the chrome is nice and shiny! The fenders are original and the chrome is nice on them too. The electrical all works great on the bike and as it should. The headlight works with the switch on the handlebars and the running light works on the back and same with the brake light when the brake is engaged. The seat is original and in great shape! The bike overall is a fantastic example of a survivor Mini Trail and would be perfect for any collector. The bike is ready to go for the new owner with
whatever they may have planned with it. I can store the bike for up to a month so that shipping arrangements are made and the bike is picked up.

New rims, tires/tubes, chain, chain guard, fork tubes/rubber, carb. air cleaner, handle bars, levers and seat ALL: aftermarket. This is the PERFECT gift for the
new rider. CDI ignition, no points to adjust, much more efficient carb and easy chain adjust. Headlight (added after all kids wracked the moto's headlight ears) was a granddaughters idea. Battery powered. Gray is all powder coat. Tank is painted because of old Bondo 1979?
