Champion Performance in Centerline, Michigan professionally built the engine. The engine was blueprinted and balanced. High-performance components include an Ohio stroker crankshaft and âH beamâ connectingrods, a Comp Cams roller camshaft, 9.7:1 JE forged pistons, aluminum Cobra Jet cylinder heads, high-performance valve train, and a massive Pro Systems 1150-cfm carburetor. Ceramic-coated headers handle the spent gases. The engine produced 613 horsepower and 589 lb-ft of torque on the dyno.
