For this 1937 De Soto, it is well noted by the beautiful design of the grill extending into the fenders which received a patent by well-known automobile designer Ray Dietrich. The authenticity of the restoration includes the numerous original factory options like overdrive, in-dash radio with the rare “hidden ” antenna under the running boards, banjo steering wheel, dual “air-tone ” horns, heater and fender “shields ” as De Soto called skirts.
